Over the course of this semester I don't know if I would say my writing has gotten all that much better.. because to start with I didn't have very good writing. But I have learned a lot of this semester. Coming into this class I hadn't taken a writing class since senior year of high school. When i was in high school I payed to take a college course from our local community college Herkimer county community college. It was taught in our high school by one of our 11th & 12th grade English teachers that was certified to teach us the material. This was not like AP English that a lot of high schools offer.. you don't have to pass the final or last exam to pass the class.. you just had to do well enough throughout the school year and you would pass. I think it was something like 100 a semester to take the full course, and if you passed it then you got the credit. So I came into college with 6 credits and it took care of both my CPN's that you would normally take here as a freshmen. I'm happy and not so happy that I took the course in high school.. I'm happy because everyone has said how hard CPN but I kind of wish I took it here because I've gone without taking any English courses.. and the course was soooo easy in high school. We didn't even do that much writing, it was more of a literature class, like reading the count of monte cristo and mitch albom books. I really did miss out on a lot of information by not taking it here at Cortland, and this class was really difficult for me because i thrown back into English again without even having that good of a base in it.
So overall I do think this class was good, I did learn a lot of stuff I had no idea about it was just difficult not having a good backround in college style writing.

Christmas Tree
Every year I look foward to getting the christmas tree with my dad, it used to be our whole family, but my mom always seems to be busy and my brother is a teenager and obviously too cool to do family things anymore, so now its just me and my dad. We usually wait until two weeks before christmas to get our tree and we get it from a local tree farm 15 minutes away from us.
My dad is so funny when picking out the tree because he looks them all over so carefully.. i really dont care, whatever looks big and pretty is good with me. I also love, love, love the smell of christmas trees!!!! It's one of my top scents.. anyways, after we pick out the tree we used to get to pick out a free ornament when we were kids, but we don't do that anymore.. so we just go back home.
One year our tree was too long to have in the back of the truck with the tail gate up so we had to keep the tail gate down and tie the tree to keep it from falling out.. so we drove home slow to make sure it wouldn't fall out and right before we went down the hill to get to our house, i looked behind us and the tree wasn't there.. and if you've seen Christmas Vacation with chevy chase I kinda thought of that movie and we seemed like them cause they had a hell of a time getting there christmas tree.. anyways we had dragged the tree behind us for god knows how many feet, and we got out and the bottom branches were all tangled and the tree was full of slush but we loved it anyway, it was kinda of battered but beautiful

Buffalo
So this past semester I have gone out to Buffalo 4 times to see my boyfriend who goes to UB. Before this year I had never been to Buffalo before in my life.. it always seemed too far away, but really its not that bad. And I also thought I would hate it because I am not a fan of the big cities and Buffalo is defiantly a big city... but to my surprise it has actually grown on me.
At first I was a little overwhelmed but I actually really like it out there, there is always something to do and there are two UB campuses in Buffalo, one is UB North and the other is South, south is near main street in Buffalo, near more of the bar scene and the college student thing. But its also closer to downtown, you can easily take the train downtown and be there in 10 minutes from South campus.
Downtown is nice too.. i mean its no new york city with everything you could imagine in one spot but I think its nicer, cleaner and has just as many things to do.
I don't think I could ever go to school there because the campus is so huge and the wind is crazy at all times there.. this past weekend I went to a rugby formal with my boyfriend and i was in a dress and heels and waiting for the train at midnight in the freezing cold wasn't all that fun but overall Buffalo is better than what I thought it was going to be.

Snow
I really really really want snow.. i love it. I do like it better when I'm home cause I don't have to walk to class in it, but i don't mind it that much out here. I love it, but I do tend to get pissed at everyone complaining about how it snows in November or even October up here, well its upstate what did you expect.. sorry, not really. We really only have to deal with a couple weeks of snow if that before we leave for christmas break so i think everyone should just enjoy it, especially if they don't get much of it where they live.
I don't think I could ever live in the south or somewhere it doesn't snow because in my mind you needdddd snow on christmas, if you don't have snow on christmas then it just doesn't feel right.
I also love to ski and snowboard so that makes snow that much more appealing..

Thanksgiving
I think it's safe to say that no one wanted to come back after thanksgiving break, you just start to get comfortable being home again and then you have to come back to a ton of work. I think it's kind of dumb to make us come back for two weeks of classes, obviously I would love it if break started at thanksgiving, ha.. won't happen, but its wishful thinking.
Anyways, I love thanksgiving and seeing everyone, not only family but friends. Thanksgiving is usually the first time I get to see everyone that I haven't seen in awhile, it's really great cause everyone is so excited just to be home and around familiar faces. Thanksgiving is always crazy at my house, not the dinner part, but dessert is like all hell breaking loose, my mom is one of 8 and all my aunts, uncles and there many kids pile into our tiny house and get drunk and yell at the tv about who missed a tackle, or what a crappy pass that was.. its crazy at times, but i wouldn't want it any other way.

Syracuse Basketball
Syracuse basketball started yesterday with their first scrimmage and they won. I didn't get to watch it because I couldn't find it out here, at home its on Time Warner Sports Channel, maybe we have that here.. i don't know. So I got to hear all about the game from my dad, for some parts I was on the phone with him and he would give me the play by play but most the time he would just call me if something good happened.
There are supposed to be some really good freshmen coming in this year, a lot of top recruits. There are also some veteran players back, like Eric Devendorf and Andy Rautins, and some players that were injured last year are now able to play this year which is nice.
My whole family is crazy about Syracuse basketball, my grandpa for the longest time had season tickets, but now he just goes every once and a while with us.
My dad is so excited, he's already trying to plan out what games we want to get tickets to... but everyone wants to see different teams, like my dad wants to see them play nova, and my brother wants to see Marquette and the Georgetown game is on my birthday this year.. tough choices.

Naps
I would not be able to get by in college without naps.. it's sad but I have to take a nap usually everyday and when I'm don't you can tell. I'll be on the phone with my boyfriend and i'll be grumpy and he'll be like "I think you better go lay down and sleep for awhile" its bad..
I don't even have that hard of a schedule, on Mondays and Wednesdays I'm done with classes at 11.. i go back to my room and usually sleep until 5 or 6. Tuesdays and thursdays im not so lucky, im not done til later but i'll take a nap until night time.. I can fall asleep so easily, whenever I watch a movie I always fall asleep.. and then I can fall asleep at night to even though I've slept most of the day away.
When I go home I don't sleep as much because my parents won't let me, they think i'm being too lazy.. which I know I am... my boyfriend won't let me nap either, he hates just sitting around, he'll make me go outside and actually see sunlight and do things.. when I would much rather just sleep all day.

Halloween
Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, its just so much fun as a kid or as an adult.. you get to dress up, and get free candy well if your still a kid.
I also love how everyone gets all into decorating, my mom really does and she loves to dress up. I can remember one time when I was little and my mom dressed up as a witch, with this wicked ugly green warty nose and when she came downstairs my little brother would not even go near her. He cried and cried until my dad took him out to go trick or treating and my mom stayed at the house.. poor thing. She never dressed up like that again..
One thing I don't like so much about Halloween is the shaving cream, and toilet paper and eggs. I think it's ok for kids if they want to shaving cream each other but I don't think eggs are necessary.. I know some people in my hometown have been known to freeze their eggs and throw them at people, which im sure hurts like hell.. people have also put pee into squirt guns and ride by in cars and squirt people and kids have also filled water balloons with nair, which is crazyyyness.. I think its gotten out of hand
Halloween is not meant for people to get covered in gross things, its to dress up and have fun

Mayer
I really have no idea what to write about..
I listen to John Mayer a lot, I'm listening to him right now and hes probably my favorite artist.. I think hes such a great artist. I have never seen him in concert but one of my room mates has and she said it was such a great time, I hope to see a concert of his someday. I didn't always used to be into him, but I think hes one of the few artists today who has stayed the same. Lots of singers go through stages but he's always seemed to put out the same kind of music, and its always good. And I think that's the reason why hes done so well through the years because he doesn't try to go with the new trends.
I'm really not one for hard core rap, or heavy rock, I do like country and old rock. but john mayer is by far my favorite.. I'm not trying to turn people into john mayer fans, because I could care less what type of music people listen to, I just think hes good. His newest CD Continuum is good, he sounds a little more grown up, but my favorite CD of his still is Room For Squares and my favorite song is Why Georgia

Rugby
So this weekend I watched my first ever rugby game. I normally would never go to watch a rugby game but this past weekend Cortland played UB and my boyfriend plays on the team for Buffalo. I didn't really know what to expect, I knew it was kind of like football but without pads. And i was kinda right, I think its more like a mix of football, soccer and wrestling.. its a crazy thing to watch. I had no idea of the rules, so i just kinda a sat there and tried to figure it out.. what I got from that hour of watching was, that you can pass the ball from player to player but it can only go backwards or sideways not forward.. you can also kick the ball whenever you want, thats where the soccer part comes in. And you can tackle, hit, take out, whatever you want to call it, the person that has the ball.. its a pretty brutal sport, I really think its unsafe, but thats just me. I think if nothing they should have some kind of head gear to protect themselves, just like a soft helmet or something like that. Overall it was what I expected, bunch of guys just being guys, running around grabbing and hitting each other.. but Buffalo won, sorry cortland.. but whatever

October Break
October break is kind of a joke.. having one day off is not a break. I don't have friday classes anyways so for me it was like any other weekend.. im not complaining because having no fridays is nice, but when i think of a break I think of at least 2 to 3 days off. I live pretty close only an hour or so away but I feel bad for the people that live father, like long island.. they have to spend half of their break in a car. The break was nice, and very much needed.. but now I just want to be home and don't really care to do much

Taz- My dog that can sneeze
Taz is my dog.. he was my first pet ever. Hes a shit-zu and hes black and white and the cutest thing ever. He's pretty old, he's 11 and for the longest time me and my brother never thought we would have a dog. We always begged for a dog, but my mom is allergic to their hair and therefore we never thought that we would have one. But one day she came home with him.. you can imagine how excited me and my brother were, we were both pretty young and he started running around outside to all our neighbors houses and announcing that we got a dog.. whatever we were kids. I think my dad had a mild heart attack because he never ever wanted a dog.. you couldn't help but love Taz though, he was this litttle black and white puff ball, he fit in the plam of my dads hand.. aww
Taz grew on my dad, and I think my dad grew on him, because out of everyone in the house Taz loves my dad the most, he'll listen to my dad over everyone and my dad loves him just as much back. My dad even taught him to do this crazy trick.. my dog can sneeze, on command.
I dont know how it happened, but my dad gets up early for work everyday, walks the dogs and eats breakfast.. and were not on of those people that think table scraps are not for dogs.. you could say our dogs are well fed, and a little too round.. but their happy.. anyways, Taz would always watch my dad get breakfast, sit right at his feet.. and somehow my dad taught Taz that when he says "Taz, you got a cold?" and Taz sneezes, its crazy.. he'll ask him "Is it a bad cold?" and he'll do it again.. its a riot, and prolly the cutest thing you'll ever see.. hes great

Key West
Me and my family always go on vacation, when i was in high school it was always myrtle beach, but last year being in college.. mine and my brothers spring break didn't match up on the same week.. so my mom decided to plan a vacation for when my brother was done in school in june. My mom has been to The Keys once but just for a day as part of a cruise trip.. she really liked it there and thought our family would as well.
We went in late june early july, and let me tell you, the keys are beautiful dont get me wrong, but i would not recommend going there in the summer.. its soooo hot. Its around 100 plus everyday, there is always a chance of thunderstorms because they humidity is so high, and it usually does rain everyday but only for 15 minutes or so then once its done, you would never even know it rained.
Anyways.. besides it being super hot, its really beautiful down there.. and its such a relaxed atmosphere. I never knew how many Keys there were either until we went down there.. we stayed at this resort in Duck Key (which I had never heard of until I got there) Duck Key is about an hour away from Key West, so its not that bad of a drive. there are so many Keys because they are so small, Duck Key was basically just the resort that we stayed in and some private houses and then it was on to the next key.
We drove down to key west and spent the day there.. and key west is by far the best key I think. There is just so much to do, theres a ton of shops, like little shops with gifts and things like that, but theres also places like bath & body works, a huge Express and everything in between. There are also a ton of places to eat, theres a place called Sloppy Joe's and its known to be Earnest Hemingway's old dive. Theres always live music, and lots of drinking. And if you ever do get to go there, you have to stay for sunset, its like noting you've ever seen.. and the boardwalk at night is full of crazy characters.. people walking the high line, its like a circus..

Boilermaker
This past new years my resoultion was to run the Boilermaker in the comming July. The Boilermaker is a race held in Utica, NY which is near my hometown, its a 9 mile race, and its a pretty big deal. It's a 9 mile course through the heart of Utica, through golf courses and up and down hills. People from all over come to run in this, and every year usually a kenyan wins it, they have for the past I dont know how many years. My mom had ran it 8 years in a row, but she no longer can run long distances because of a knee injury. I remember when I was little always getting up really early and meeting at my grandparents with my whole family, because not only my mom but two of my cousins from Indiana would come home to run it, so my whole family had this one spot we would always watch from. It's right at the bottom of the golf course which is about the 4 mile marker. My mom always told me how much fun is was to run it, because like I said it's a pretty big deal, so everyone comes out to watch it, your bound to see about 10 or more people you know when running it. So i decided last new years that I would run it. Now I'm no long distance runner, but I do like to run so i decided that if I trained I should be able to do it. Well needless to say I didnt train very much, I ran 5 miles once before the race and that was maybe like a week before the race was to happen. I came home from the 5 mile run telling my mom was proud i was for running 5 miles, and she just laughed at me, and told me I was in for it the day of the race..
So finally the day of the race comes, and I pick up my cousin and one of her friends because they are running it too. Im not really nervous, im more excited than nervous.. and thousands and thousands of people run this, so when you get there its madness. There are so many runners, that when they sound the gun to start I didnt even pass the starting line for about 3 minutes..
I felt really good that day thankfully, If you run you know what I mean, some days it just feels like shit to run.. today was a good day. I mean I was tired, but the crowd is just so great, there are radio stations set up all along the race, and lots of water and ice stations because its usually the hotter than hell that day. It felt really good to pass my parents at the bottom of the golf course, i just got this boost of energy running by them. But I def should have trained more, by the 7 mile marker I wasj ust praying for the finish line, but once you do cross the finish line there is no better feeling.. you just feel so good, even though your body is drained, and not to mention there is a huge after party and free beer waiting for you

No More Mets
So this past Sunday the Mets put their season to a close, the Phillies won their game and the mets lost.. so no more Mets this season. It sucks that their season had to be this short, but they really have no one to blame but themselves. They had a huge lead, 12 games or something like that in the beginning of the season and they lost it. I still love them, but this year just wasn't their year.. but on a happier note, the Giants won again last night! haa

take a knee
This past weekend I went home to see one of my brothers football games. My brother is a senior and football is the only sport he plays and he loves it.. hes a wide receiver, and theres nothing to him. He's 6'0 and 135 pounds, hes kinda small for a football player and my mom hates watching the games but its his favorite. Hes already gotten hurt a couple times this season, he hurt his right knee in the first game and had to do some physical therapy for it and he didn't practice for a couple days.. when he returned to practice he dislocated his shoulder and now it happens pretty often when hes at practice. But he felt good for this weekend and was excited for the game.
There team has not been doing well this year, they are a small team and lost a lot of seniors the past couple years.. they are also in a tough league, they play in B league, when they should be in C, and this year they passed it that Ilion will be in C from now on but the schedule was already made at the time so they kept with the people in B league just for this season. Ilion is a small school with not many kids and not many big kids, and the majority of the teams that we play are larger and all the kids are big farm boys.
Well so this weekend, they played VVS, and they are a good team so our team was having a tough time... marc is doing well though he looks like his knee is fine and then in the 2nd quarter one of our players is down and its Marc. my first reaction was "shit, cant this kid catch a break".. he looks like hes in agony, hes holding his head in his hands in pain. All the while all the players are still standing around.. what ever happened to taking a knee and showing some respect for the player thats hurt, and during this the announcer takes the time to inform the crowd about the raffle and things that are coming up in the next week for the team.. how rude and how shitty of that school for letting him so that. this set my mom off, and she starts yelling at the announcer from across the field even though i know and she knows he cant hear her, but its her son laying out there and its only normal for a mother to be pissed at something like that.
It really is such a scary feeling when that happens to someone in your family, cause i know people get hurt all the time and yes you feel bad for them.. but its something else when its your brother out there.. they had to carry him off the field and me being the baby that i am started to cry.. i guess you dont really know that feeling until something like this happens to you
Like I said football is the only sport my brother plays, they finished out their regular season with one win and this was not enough to qualify for sectionals. But they did get to play one more game against a team much like them.. it's just one more game for the seniors to play and just have fun and not worry about having to win.
They played our neighboring town Mohawk, and i was not able to make it home for the game. So I had to be updated on the phone by my mom. The night they played was awful out, they had thunderstorms and rain so hard you could barley see but eventually after delaying the game for an hour so so they started to play. As you can imagine it was a mud hole out on the field and the ball was slipping everywhere. As it turns out Mohawk played better than our team that night and when I called my dad he told me that they had lost.
In the mean time my boyfriend was out visiting me that weekend and he is from Mohawk, so we were both on the phone with our parents at the same time asking about the game. After we got off the phone he was rubbing it in my face that Mohawk had won and then he told me that he parents said after the game was over, and the field being the mud pit that it was, the Mohawk football team starting celebrating and sliding all over the field in the mud..
..I got pretty mad about this because one I was upset for my brother, i know how badly he wanted to end his season on a win and how much he was going to miss football.. and i also think that is something you don't do at another persons field. I could see if it was your home field, go ahead do whatever you want, but its not acceptable at someone else's field.. and I said this to him and we ended up getting in a fight over it because he said they were just having fun and playing in the mud.. which they very well could have been doing, but its just the principle that you don't celebrate like that on someone else's field when its their last home game of the season. To this day he still doesn't agree with me, but maybe he would see it differently if his brother was a senior, because his brother who plays for Mohawk is only a sophomore and still has two more years to play on that field.. my brother didn't, that was his last night. I really think it just comes down to the coaching and discipline that these kids are getting today it just doesn't hold up to the standards anymore.
As it turns out Mohawk played better than our team that night and when I called my dad he told me that they had lost.

todays a good day..
..the mets and the giants both won, im happy cause at first i didn't know if either of them were going to pull it off. The mets were winning and they found a way to let the other team get back in it.. they have the problem alot it seems latley. But after 11 innings, they won 7-6 over the marlins. Andd the giants, i was home ealier today and i was watching the game with my dad cause hes a big giants fan and its sort of rubbed off on me... they were down i think 17- 3, maybe it wasnt that much.. but they were doing crappy and my dad was getting pissed. I watched as much as I could but then i had to drive back and when my family to tell them that i got here, my dad told me that the giants won 24-17.. which is amazing, he said the defense decided to show up in the 2nd half, and im glad they did or i would have had to hear all about it from him.

Fire Drills
The other night the towers had a fire drill around 9ish maybe, i cant really remember.. me and my friend were watching a movie and it scared the shit outta us. Cause the alarms in the towers arn't like the newer fire alarms, you know the ones that just kind of beep. And for anyone who lives or lived in the towers they know what im talking about.. these alarms are more like bells, something you think you would see in a firehouse.. and they are soooo loud.
So we make our way outside and stand out there for awhile, the firemen come and go in and do what they have to do and then we get to go back in.. great
Well monday morning someone thought it would be a good idea to have a fire drill at 6:30 am.. hmm, well im sorry but your going to wake me up at 6:30 in the morning to go stand outside in 30 degree weather then something best be on fire! 6:30 is no time for a practice fire drill.. end of story

Fall
Im so happy that it's been trying to cool off a little this past week.. fall is my favorite season. I hate coming back to school because I know it's going to be crazy hot for the first couple weeks. Fall is my favorite season because of the temperature, cause i really hate being too hot and I don't mind the cold. Fall is perfect, you can walk to class and not be a mess when you get there cause its so hot. I also like fall because it's really pretty up here, and at home.. everything just looks better when all the trees are different colors. I love the smell of fall too, and I know that may sound weird, but I think fall has a different scent to it. Like I think fall smells like apples and campfire.. and campfire is my favorite smell in the whole world.
I also really enjoy fall because at home there is this place called Fly Creek, and they have the bestttt apples and apple cider and I love both of them. My family and I always go there together.. so when I think of fall, I also think of them.
Fall is football season, and I love watching high school, college and pro football.. I think my favorite to watch right now is high school cause you get to be outside, and my brother plays so that makes it more exciting for me. I feel like fall is a really great sports season, you have football, soccer, field hockey.. these sports are fun to watch and i also think to play.

High School Sports..
For me there is nothing like high school sports.. I really enjoyed my high school sport experience and some days I wish I was back there. At my high school you either played sports, and if you played sports you were usually a three sport athlete, or you sang and were in the school plays. Well singing was def not for me, and when I was younger my parents had me playing soccer, but they are not the kind of parents that push you to do what they want.. because I later found out I liked gymnastics so I did that until 7th grade, where I had to choose gymnastics or playing sports that the school offered, and I decided to play for the school.
I played field hockey, basketball and softball all throughout my high school career, and I loved it. Sports are a pretty big deal in our school, so whenever there was a game going on that night there was always a decent crowd there.
I'd say the biggest sport in our town are football. Football season was my favorite.. my town is kinda like that town in friday night lights, where everyone goes to the games and gets all into it, minus the win at all cost or we hate you thing that goes on in that movie.. anyways..
Games were always on fridays with a few excpetions for saturday games, but if it was a friday game, that whole friday was consumed by football. . I know it's a little corny but all the guys would come wearing their jerseys and the girls would be wearing their other one, the cheerleaders were all dressed up and 'spirit ribbons' were sold to wear on your clothing. . After school all the guys would go up to the park at the end of our school and I don't really know what they do up there, but its just tradition, the whole team is up there and then they go to the team dinner, and after that it's game time..
The games start at 7:00, and I lived really close to my high school so around 6:00 you would know that they were warming up cause you could hear the music comming from the field. If you were going to the game, you showed up at 6:30ish, cause if you didnt, you wouldnt have a seat and you would be standing.. All games start the same, you know, introductions, coin toss, guys get in the huddle, jump around, yell and then the kick off..
After the game if it had gone well for our team, then they would make their way over to the victory bell located at the front of our high school. The victory bell was a class gift left to our school from a graduating class a really long time ago, the bell has taken some beatings over some time and is no longer shiny, but cracked and chiped but i think that just adds to its appeal.. so on nights of a win, all the players usually starting with the captains, and working there was down until the last person, the head coach get to take their turn and ring the bell.. so probably somewere between 30-50 people, and the opposite teams bus is usually parked somewhere near there, oh well..

Small Towns
I know everyone thinks that upstate new york is all farms, and small towns and hicks.. and sometimes they are right.. but first lets get this straight, upstate is not everything north of the city.. and yeah the towns are small and there are farms, but not everyone is a hick and says ya'll.
I'm from a really small town in central ny, its about an hour and a half north east of here, its called Ilion.. im sure not many people have heard of it. It's in the mohawk valley and there are many small surrounding towns. We have one fast food place, 3 pizza places, a couple gas stations, 1 high school and a lot of churches. I graduated with 98 kids in my class and a good percent of them were kids that couldnt cut it the year before so had to graduate with my class... most people graduate with 500-1000 kids in their class, we had about 900 kids in the whole school.
I really love being from upstate ny though, its really a beautiful place to live. There is a lot of open land, not farms, just open land.. everything is not covered with big office buildings, or stores or food places.
I really don't mind being from a small town either.. when I was younger I really disliked where I live because I thought it was soo boring and that nothing was ever going on, but moving away from there last year it made me realize how much of love home. I think one of the main reasons why I love it there is because i have a huge family on both my mom and my dads side and most of them all live in the valley... it's probally because it's a great, safe place to raise a family.
My friends here at school used to make fun of me for living upstate.. but a couple of my friends came home with me to visit my family, and my one friend really liked it there, she said its nice to have a change from such a fast paced life.. so i think before anyone disses upstate they need to visit it

I no longer need an alarm clock..
Why do I no longer need an alarm clock.. well if you have lived any where on campus within im guessing a 20 foot radius of any of the dumpsters then you know why I no longer need an alarm clock...
The Cortland garbage trucksss..
Last year I lived in Randall hall and when the first week came around I got the shit scared out of me one morning at roughly 6 o'clock.. (yes, i only lived on the 2nd floor and i was lucky enough to have the dumpster right below my window, but anyways..) the first time i heard it, it sounded like someone was comming through the walls, its that loud.. clashing of metal on metal and the plastic doors slamming again and again because i have to believe that they just throw those dumpsters around for fun in the small hours of the morning. I remember jumping out of bed and yelling cause i had no idea what was going on. When i woke up that morning I asked my roomie if she had heard the same thing and she had, we were pissed that we got an early wake up call but we figured it woundnt happen all the time.. we were wrong.
Soo went the whole year dealing with these garbage trucks, and finally at the end of the year i was so ready to get out of that room and move into the towers where i thought those damn garbage trucks could never find me again..
Well again I was wrong, a couple days into this year and those damn trucks are outside my window, crashing and back to their old ways, prolly laughing at me because im now awake at the lovely hour of 6.
I live on the 6th floor, so I do feel for the kids that are anywhere below us because im sure it only gets louder, and makes you want to kill yourself that much more as you go down the floors.
I think my favorite days are when not only the trucks come around for their daily parade, but also whens its the same day to drag the law mowers across the grass and let the young children out loose to scream and be amazingly not cute..

Vick
A couple days ago my friend and I were talking about Michael Vick's speech, and she said that after he was done she felt kinda bad for him... ha, thats a joke. I have no sympathy for him at all, what he did was wrong and disgusting. How dumb is he really? He gets to run around and play football for a living, and make tons of money doing it... so many people would kill to just continuing playing sports throughout college and here he is making it his career and screwing it up... what a dirt bag.
I just don't understand how someone could be that stupid. He obviously knew what the outcome would be if he were to get caught with all these dead dogs laying around, and I really don't see how anyone can get enjoyment out of watching to dogs fight til the other one is dead, and he didnt need to do it for the money because he has enough of that, so its just beyond me as to why he did this.
As for him coming back to the NFL, I don't think it would be fair to let him back because their are players in the NFL that are good people and don't have all this other stuff going on, on the side. I know that there are prolly a bunch of other players that are doing things equally as bad as what Vick did but they just haven't gotten caught yet. Knowing the NFL though he will prolly be back and playing sometime..
